It's where I prefer to be. If I can't get the lido I'll go for deck 9 forward.

I'm looking at 4J cabins on the Vista and I'm wondering if  the exterior area at the bow of Deck 9 has public access from the front corridors?

TIA

I had a trip on the Vista in December 2019.  I received an upgrade offer to Lido deck and took it.  I loved, loved the location.  I had cabin 10264.  There was a door that we used to get to our cabin that was right past the sliding glass doors to the lido pool.  It was the best ever and now I want to be Lido deck all the time.  I think you should give it a try.

We are going on the Vista for the first time in 2 days, but not on Lido deck.  We did have a Lido balcony on a different ship a few years ago and really liked it.  We were afraid that it might be really noisy, but it wasn't.

About the ONLY downside would be if it's raining and you need to get to the Lido buffet.  You can either choose to get wet, or go down one deck and over.
