rollie Posted January 23, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2020 We've cruised before on a S Class ship, and found that Luminea was roomy enough to accommodate everyone. Looking at the deck plan for Infinity's Luminea, it looks much smaller. Wondering if we will have trouble getting a table. Rollie
Oville Posted January 23, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2020 We’ve never had an issue on M class ships.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted January 23, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2020 It really depends on the cruise and when passengers choose to show up. While most of the time there is no delay I have had experiences where the Restaurant Manager would call the Retreat to let them know they have a back up and asked to hold up sending down for 10-15 minutes. I've also seen them hand out beepers. This has generally happened on late sail aways.
George C Posted January 23, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2020 We were on infinity for 9 days in March luminae was fine, had no issues getting a table , enough space between tables , staff was great. We are back on infinity in 3 weeks in our first royal suite.

emelle Posted January 24, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2020 What all above said.....also may depend if you get "attached" to a particular waiter or don't want to sit near the "prep" area in the back. We usually were there by 6:30-7:00 and had problems only one night....waited for just a few minutes to get a table with "our" waiter for the cruise. If you are a large party, and there are other large parties too....that may cause some delay in getting enough tables together to seat you all (we saw that happen once or twice in November).
