Has anyone been offered the Owners Suite for an Upgrade? If so, how much more was it to upgrade?my cruise is on the Ecstasy next month, the 5 day to Bahamas.  I have a cabin mid ship, Riveria with a window. The carnival salesman emailed me 10 minutes before he left for the day...told to call him tmrw morning. I'm curious how much more $$ it will be.😎

I didn't see where you shared what was the actual offer, and did you take it?

I have called the "salesman " 3 times. Always get his vm to which I leave a message. He has called me back but I couldn't take call at the time of call. We are in the middle of phone tag Lol from what I've read on other posts, it's not cheap. Who knows but I will post once we speak. 😉

Hi again. The owners suite is no longer available. So he didnt give me a price. He did offer a jr suite, non obstructed on deck 11 for a great price. I'm chewing on it right now.

I wouldn't take it because of the balcony view.

I'd get tired of looking at the life boat all week.

I spend a lot of time on the balcony.

Suite is very nice though.

The balcony view is certainly down on the list of best features.  That said, I would recommend a jump for them if the opportunity was there and the price was not a killer, GREAT rooms.

I did decide to take the Jr Suite upgrade. I'm on the ecstasy and it is suite V11. I did my math and compared what the cost would have been if I purchased the suite originally. It's a great deal and who knows if I ever receive another upgrade for future cruises. It comes with VIP status, so that is a fun perk.

I am probably in the minority who thinks all that space in the Owner’s Suite is wasted.  Especially if there are only 2 of you in there, how much could you realistically make use of?  We had a jr. suite once and that was about as much space as we needed I think.  Different strokes for different folks I guess, but unless Carnival can consistently command a premium price for an Owner’s Suite of that size, I just don’t get it.
