Pool depths on Dawn

Avid water workout person here, heading out on Dawn.

 

How deep are Dawn’s pools - the one inside the spa area, and the main pool outside.

 

I’m 5’ 2” and and so wondering if I need to bring floatation items (belt, noodle, etc..)

 

I do swim, too; I hear the pool inside is long enough to swim laps; what do you think?

In my experience it has been pretty muh impossible to swim laps on NCL ships 99+ percent of the time in decent weather because of crowds hanging out in the pools.  The only exceptions are the swim-against-the-current lap pools in the Jewel and Pearl Havens.

The pool in the spa is 3-4 ft deep. Not very long. The main pool is 5-6 feet deep depending on which end your on. These are just guestamations.

When the pool wasn't crowded, I was able to swim laps in the main pool.  It might have been when we were docked in Bermuda, and people were off of the ship.

I was able to swim some laps while docked in port.  During sea days, that was not an option.
