Room Selection - Sunrise

Getting ready to book a room on the Sunrise for July 2020.  The middle of the ship rooms available online are either deck 8 below the pool area or deck 6 above the casino.  There are also some fore and aft room available that don't appear to be over or under anything noising.  There are some above the piano bar but I already ruled those out.

Any suggestions on what might be quieter?  If I call Carnival could they see if other rooms are available or do the agents see the same thing as us?

Thanks,

David

I'm going on the sunrise in may deck 2 back of the ship. First time on this one so I cant comment on noise levels but I do know carnival will put you on a waiting list for when someone with a more desirable room location cancels or doesn't pay by the due date. Otherwise they would only be able to see the same rooms as online.

We prefer the middle or back of the ship, seems like a long walk from the front anywhere. Also, we always book YTD, so that's in the rear dining room. Once booked one of those oceanview cabins across the very front of the ship. Loved the view + almost private deck outside, but never walked so much in our lives.
