Flash Sale is killing me!!!

We are booked on a premier cruise next month, our cabin cost us around $3,044. I did a mock booking today and the same exact cruise and category of room is $1600!! But since its on new bookings only we can't receive the price drop!! BUMMER!

I wish I understood how this pricing worked!! Booked a mid March sailing 10 days ago,it was the highest priced date but during my daughter’s Spring Break so really the only one we could do. Paid in full now 10 days later it’s down $100 dollars a person, I just don’t get it!!

Is this a new ploy by Carnival to not honor early saver price drops or just a miscommunication?

I would call back and if I couldn't get the drop then I would cancel. That's a whole other cruise you could pay for with that price difference. No way I would let that go.

Im blown away that sometimes I call Carnival...I receive A+ customer service, all my questions are answered but when I call back and speak to someone else I get nowhere. I called yesterday because I saw online that a balcony room on deck 9 for my cruise on the magic next month was like $130 cheaper than our cove balcony. I called and the first person I talked to was super helpful and confirmed that it would be a price drop but I had to rebook through the casino since I got a casino rate. I talked to the wife and called back ready to make the switch. Not only did the person I talked to act like it was an inconvenience to switch it but in one hour, the $130 price drop had gone down to $60 somehow. My long winded point is, call back..there's a good chance you'll get someone more willing to help. I've had this happen on several occasions...if I don't like the conversation is going i'll just excuse myself and call back later.

This is why I LOVE my PVP.  We also had a price drop for our AUg Alaska cruise under a casino offer.  Called him, he looked it up, confirmed all the info and got the difference (several hundred dollars too!) as OBC.
