matymil Posted March 19, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2020 I got through first thing Sunday morning in 15 mins. Im seeing these horror stories about people calling Carnival and waiting 4 hours? Has anyone had to wait any insane amounts when calling? Also, shout out to the lady who helped me in the casino dept rebook my cruise. I don't remember her name but I have her ext written down. It was a breeze to rebook and she was super pleasant. Hopefully everyone is having good experiences 🙂
mnp75 Posted March 19, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2020 Call very early and you'll get through. My last call only took about 23 minutes, sitting on hold and talking with rep.
grandmarnnurse Posted March 19, 2020 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2020 I called at 7am on Saturday and was on hold for just over 2 hours.
evandbob Posted March 19, 2020 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2020 I called Carnival's Diamond Desk yesterday at 10:30AM and was connected to a live agent almost immediately.
teknoge3k Posted March 19, 2020 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2020 Times like this is a great time to have a PVP at Carnival. Send them a simple text or Facebook message or email and don't have to worry about sitting on a phone forever.

trory Posted March 20, 2020 #7 Share Posted March 20, 2020 I did called Tuesday night at 10:30pm to cancel and rebook my 4/18 sailing, I waited about 15 minutes and then a survey about the service I received started playing and then disconnected. I called back and it took about 20 mins before I got a representative. She then put me on hold for 50 min while she "filled out a few forms for my FCC and talked to her supervisor" that survey stating playing softly under those ads they play while you're on hold and then the phone disconnected. She never called back. I called the next morning at 7 sharp and got through almost instantly. I don't remember the agents name but she was lovely and knew what she were doing. I had a cruise rebooked and everything explained to me in about 20 min and she never placed me on hold to do it. I was so paranoid about losing money but I actually ended up saving about $200 and getting a better room. Now sailing on 10/31, my birthday is the next day so it should a great time.
Mrs.C05 Posted March 20, 2020 #8 Share Posted March 20, 2020 I just called twice tonight and got through within 10 minutes. Still haven't decided on re-booking. Waiting on the refund to hit first.
