Gloves are worse than no gloves unless you are constantly changing them. People think, 'oh I have gloves on, I'm protected. I can touch anything!' They are simply your new skin.

People don't wash gloves or change gloves, they can hand wash.

I totally agree.   I've been somewhat confused when I read about people buying surgical gloves.

I believe in hand-washing and also carry hand sanitizer with me.    (I've been carrying hand sanitizer for years.  Used to work in a hospital and I vividly recall watching a video about 'how germs travel'!)

I used to work in a hospital too and they once had a session having us wash our hands as we normally would and then they did a germ residue test.  Let's just say it was eye opening and I have never forgotten that some 10+ years later.  I give more thought not only to hand washing but how well I do it.

Virtual banks/touchscreen will take time and money to get working correctly, and we lose some of the feel of handling chips and the sense of bravado that comes from a big stack of chips.  Remember when you first played a slot machine with tickets instead of coins?

But, those felt table tops are already gross...  I suspect someone will come up with a plastic shield for the playing surface... somewhere between a sheet of plexiglass, and a layer of Press-n-Seal film.  (It's a brand of film sold alongside Cling-wrap for kitchen use... it is sheer but not transparent, has a sticky side about as strong as a Post-it Note.)  They could be sprayed and wiped down regularly, and easily cut to fit tables and/or the cushioned elbow-rest.

IMHO, the film version might tear, but it wouldn't be as noisy as plexiglass, and is cheap enough to be replaced frequently.  And wouldn't interfere with the sensor lights that monitor chip placements.

Social distancing will hit some players more than others... seems like there are plenty of seats at blackjack or Mississippi Stud, but we often wait for a seat at Hold'em or 3-Card Poker.  At times, I'm the only one playing craps, at others we have to squeeze between other players to place a bet.   I expect people will negotiate to have specific slot machines turned on, too.

I've been to Vegas twice and visited multiple casinos.  Plastic dividers on all gaming tables and every other slot machine is turned off.  Hand sanitizer everywhere and while I see cleaning crews all over the place, they're not cleaning gaming tables very often.  The bartender is wearing gloves, drink servers usually aren't, yet they're all touching the same glass, handing them to customers, accepting chip or cash tips and not washing their hands between rounds.

Golf course while in Vegas?  Not yet, too hot in the summer unless you go early in the morning; I didn't even bring my clubs which was nice because I could just have a carry on and not deal with the baggage claims.  Top Golf is (or was) open, though.
