How do you block posts from a member

Sorry to ask this But so e people are hijacking these topics with endless arguments. I come here for information. Is there a way to block a members posts

Exactly, hover over "the" posters name to the left of their post and select 'Ignore User' and done. 

 

I've done it when someone was aggressive in their language instead of posting in the spirit of the forum.
