Azamara Journey with a 15 year old

Hi we have booked Azamara Journey Christmas New year in Australia with our 15 year old grandson he needs WiFi and tv channels are they good choice ?  Thanks Sue

WiFi very patchy/poor and expensive 

TV channels not really good for that age group sorry

Wi-Fi hit and miss, TV channels choice very poor.

Also probably very few if any kids and no kids program.

2/10 at best for the TV entertainment. Wifi is variable. It's difficult to give a definite answer as it depends, but overall I'd give that 4/10 to manage expectations.  Azamara's focus is more on destination rather than lots to do around the ship. And of course it depends upon your grandson's needs too.

...we had a great experience with two young gentlemen in 2015 (Journey). About 15 well behaving kids on board. Crew  got above and beyond setting up a "youth progamme" - they showed films and /or prpared hot dogs or a barbeque ororganized a table tennis tournament. Definitvely not a sophisticated programme but very very nice and personal. Our kids loved it - especially that it was not the sometimes "hectic" 24/7 programme from bigger lines. I rememder also (but not shure) that there were some DVDs to be let at the reception. We never used the wifi - much to expensive.

No DVDs any longer. All DVD players have been removed for some time.
