Just received our email confirming our March cruise on the Star is cancelled. I’m already in the process of moving us to two B2B cruises on the Venus in November and December 21.

If I were predicting, I would guess June 1 is a reasonable re start date.

Just got my email also.  Think I will try again in August.  Think I just want my money back and will not worry about the voucher at this point.  My wife had bought some Viking bucks or what ever they call them and the TA said I will get those back also.  Not saying the 25% isn't worth any thing but at this point I think I want the cash in my hand.

Yes we are doing the same. Taking the refund. 

Would have moved it, but the same cruise in 2023, is double the price. I can certainly understand why.

Got my notice this morning and moved the voucher to April 2022. Ahh, Venice on the Spring.

April Japan cruise cancelled too. Hoping for Egypt in December so have asked for a transfer. If that is refused then refund as we won't be cruising in 2022.

We just collected our third FCV.  I've lost track of which one was cancelled and applied to another.

 

Out of curiosity, who here holds the record for amassing future cruise vouchers?

Just got our notice of April cancellation--got teary eyed because it's the 3rd cancellation we have had and two with Viking.  I'm totally bummed as travel for me is my happy place.

We are taking the refund and hope that it won't take almost 3 months like it did the last time.  Best of luck to all of my fellow cruisers regarding future travels.  I can't wrap my head around 2022, let alone 2023.  I glad that many of you are optimistic--we need to be!!

It is not going to be me, that is for sure.

 

Right now I hold about as much in vouchers as I am comfortable with. This is our 4th cancellation and we are turning down the 125% voucher for the cash portion of the payment on this latest cancellation (about a third of the total cost).

I think you will find that they are not refunded to you in cash but are returned to their "available for use" status in your account. If they do refund you cash, it will be for the amount you actually paid for them and not the face value.
