You have no idea how long your vaccine is going to last either. Zip. Zero. Zilch. And they wouldn't want to take it because they've already HAD COVID. It's like buying two airline tickets for the same flight in case the flight crashes at least you have another seat! LOL

You'll get 'blue in the face with this on this platform.  🤨

There are many medical professionals, researchers, etc. that agree with what you state.  They've been silenced, cancelled etc. since early 2020 when 1 first stated unequivocally that this virus could "not" have naturally evolved.  After a backlash and a quick 'meeting of the minds' of the 'experts' and 'health leaders,' such was recanted.  Now, 15 months later, after 'the con (per Star Trek, i.e., the 'helm so to speak) has been handed off, 'hey, we should look into this.'

This sounds scary.  It is.  Why?  Because these are the same sources behind the 'get vaccinated or else' cult dogma with ignorance to those with natural immunity, and versus the vaccines, which only TIME can answer AND IT HASN'T PASSED.  So, for those projecting guarantees of the long-term effects of the vaccine (and its "unknown periodic boosters," or doubting or promoting the long-term comparative benefits of natural immunity, without mentioning that AT THIS TIME we do not know, should be regarded as 'biased by some other motivation and 'disregarded.

They are the ilk that created the concept of the virus having the capability of thinking; what time you ate, how many people at your table, what side of the street your on, 'just wear the mask (which, other than the N95 are essentially useless, especially if not handled 'exactly' as instructed), wear two masks, don't go to church (and please don't sing) but head downtown for a dumpster fire and peaceful chant, and you're safe on a plane, etc.

I am married to a doctor and she even said that covid is being blown out of proportion . she told me to get the vaccine and i did

Oh, well there you go — that makes everything all hunkie dory.  Just tell that to the people at check in when you refuse to present testing results or wear a mask, I’m sure they will escort you right on board.  🙄

Where did anyone (other than you) say testing would be done all day? Not aware of any cruise line that is suggesting anything like that.  Daily isn’t even on the table.  Where did I say I wanted to be tested or that I think constant testing of vaccinated people was necessary? I never said that, so the answer is “no where”.

What I did say, to be CLEAR, is that you can say all day long, til the cows come home, that you don’t want to wear a mask, or be tested (which is fine, if you stay home all the time) but in the REAL world that is not going to work.  How will YOU feel when you get turned away for refusing the required testing and masking? Probably not going to be a happy camper. I’m not going to have a problem on my trip because we will limit outings and mask up in the weeks prior to our cruise, and we will get tested and wear a mask as needed.  We are adults, and understand reality.

your comment "wear a mask, or be tested (which is fine, if you stay home all the time)" made me laugh lol i needed that. good one /// yes we are adults this is not prison i dont want to wear a mask on my tropical vacation where i am supposed to be relaxing and getting away from reality for a moment before going back to work..getting tested and wearing mask does not sound like fun

Pass again. To my knowledge such protocols are not implemented for Flu. You are asking them to violate the CDC order and whatever else is in place and say that doesn't matter. They will be banned from sailing into or out of U.S waters and maybe even carrying Americans. Royal would not survive that.

cdc is a waste of time and tax dollars they need to get lost they do nothing!

No, because Royal isn’t REQUIRING it. They are asking is someone wants to VOLUNTEER proof. Big difference. I know someone has already told you this so I don’t know why you are still saying it’s in violation. Saying it repeatedly doesn’t make it true.

Absolutely. We all know how THAT works now, don't we?

The Nassau sailings now require test within 5 days of arriving in Nassau...then they do another one before you board...and then another one before you leave... and this includes vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers... this changed recently

The vloggers I watched last night, who boarded yesterday, said that only the unvaccinated passengers were tested at the port — which is in line with what Royal has communicated to passengers recently.  The first sailing had no pre-arrival test, but did have to test at embarkation.  And of course there is no change to the end of cruise test protocol.

My mom and stepdad had covid in January. Their doctor recommended they get the vaccines and they did. They had a bad case.

President Trump and our first lady had Covid and they were recommended to be vaccinated. They were smart about it and they both were vaccinated before they left the White House. I just wish he had made a very big splash of it with the media to capture the moment the vaccine went into their arms. Maybe more of his supporters would be more apt to get themselves vaccinated.

Every year we get a new flu vaccine formulation which has had zero testing, short or long term, in humans before it's mass-produced. Some covid vaccines, the least effective ones, are based on a similar technique to flu vaccines - they kill some viruses and inject you with the debris and your body does the rest.  So if people don't want mRNA they could just opt for one of the crappier, old-fashioned vaccines that are available.

Well, that's one way to put it. Seriously.....those people who are hesitant with this new mRNA technology most certainly can opt for the tried and true "old fashioned" way of vaccine production. There are options. I just wish these folks would consider them.

I have not read the posts from your post forward as of yet, so if this has been stated already, I apologize for repeating it...

RCCL has stated their Covid tests will run in the $130-140 range (I forget the actual amount they posted).  They said this money will go to the company directly that they have contracted to conduct the tests and that RCCL will not be making a penny off of Covid tests conducted.  So I am not sure where you got the $1000 fee from, unless you have a family of 7 or 8 you will not be paying $1000 for Covid tests to RCCL.

I think the $1000 fee for tests was just hyperbole by another poster as "wishful thinking" to deter un-vaxxed from considering a cruise vacation.
