7 hours (I can get to Port Canaveral, Tampa, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Mobile and Charleston within that time frame).

Anything longer than 7 hours and I’m flying.

Six and a half to Miami for me.  Four hours to Canaveral.  Probably 5.5 to 6 to Tampa.  Charleston is a couple of hours, Jax a little less.

I will be driving to Miami at the end of the month for my big discount MSC cruise.  Since my assigned check in time is 11:00 AM, I will drive to Fort Pierce the evening before then cover the last two hours on Friday morning.

Next month, I am driving ~ 12 hours to Tampa (with an overnight break on the way), then flying to Seattle for an Alaskan cruise.  Not an either/or situation.

(I have an Orlando vacation scheduled to start when cruise is over, so opted for cheaper flights - and nonstop - from FL.  And Tampa was a better deal than Orlando).
