Final Payment 30 Days Before (Oct 1 - Dec 31 cruises)

I haven't seen this posted yet.  Anyone get an email about final payment moving from 90 days to 30 days before for cruises within this date?  Not bad as we were planning on paying it off this weekend, but guess we can wait.

30 days before Oct 1 is September 1.  That's big of them.

I received the email this morning.

 

While it seems like a grand gesture on the surface, it really only applies to new bookings > 30 days out or sailings for the last two weeks in December.

 

To me, it indicates soft close-in bookings.

Yeah true...guess a lot of the dates are already past final payment.....or as per post above, for new bookings.  Works for our cruise but we're end of Dec.

I wonder how this will effect RoyalUp.  Our final payment is Monday, Sept 20th. We were hoping they would drop prices so we could upgrade or RoyalUp.  Now our final payment is in November. Sigh

Hmm.....and I just received Final Payment reminder emails for our Dec cruise.  Seems one Royal system doesn't know about the other Royal system.  There's a surprise.  Which to believe?😏
