Gold By The Inch?

I purchased a long chain neckless 25 years ago.  It still looks brand new.  After 10 years, the chain caught on something and damaged one of the links.  While on a cruise they repaired the link at no charge.  I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again.

I guess I should have stated that it was gold plated. I’m aware of that and was just wanting some to make a mask holder. I don’t think anywhere does anyone call real gold “gold by the inch”. At least not that I’m aware of.

I had thought of that same thing but did not see any chain by the inch on Allure in. September.  I had made a mask holder with black satin cord but the knots kept coming untied.  I got a suitable chain at hobby lobby when we got home.  I know it won’t look good after a few uses but I really dont care as long as it serves the purpose.
