So i booked an 8 Day Cruise to San Juan, St. Maarten, Grand Turk, and St. Kitts. What i got was an 8 day Cruise with a 7 hour stop in Antigua.

There is no way i will book another until this is over.

The Caribbean is a crap shoot, the islands open, and close, with no warning. We were on the 12/18 Freedom 8 day cruise. Went to Curaçao, then had Aruba and Bonaire cancelled. If not for Amber Cove accepting us we would have had  7 sea days also.

So sorry to hear that! I like sea days, but I would be restless with that many.

Transatlantic cruises can have that many sea days in a row but if we're supposed to have ports and suddenly dont it would be disappointing on steroids. That itinerary is great Im sorry you didnt get to enjoy.

Did they say why were you denied ?  The Mardi Gras was there yesterday.  We sail on the Freedom on Sunday with a stop in Grand Turk also.

The captain said because of the growing number of cases on the island and the number of cases on board.

It's been a fun cruise. You know when you book you may not get to go to some ports. You also know during covid you may not get to go anywhere or that your cruise may be cancelled. You gambled and didnt win what you wanted on this cruise. I'm glad you're having luck in the casino. Stay there until you give it all back since the cruise sucks so much.

RE Grand Turk.

I've been hearing they are only letting 1 ship in a day because one side of the pier is being dredged.

Not sure which day the Freedom was originally scheduled to dock there but there could be another ship in.

I know San Juan, St Kitts and St Thomas haven't been letting ships dock.  But ships are docking at St Maarten.  Curious if Antigua is letting ships dock in English Harbor as the refurb of dock in St John's isn't finished.

BG-we on Island were told Freedom was not being allowed to dock because of the number of cases onboard today. The dredging is completed and both sides of the dock can and has taken 2 ships.

New update, they're trying to get us into Nassau tomorrow.

Good Luck!  If you do go to Nassau, one of our favs is John Watling Distillery where they serve the best ever pina colada!  It's up the hill from the port.
