San Juan walkable to cruise port?

We will be at the CasaBlanca hotel in old San Juan.  Is it walkable from old San Juan to the cruise port?   I remember in New Orleans we took a cab for what turned out to be a 3 block ride.  From the map it looks walkable, but sometimes cities are not pedestrian friendly.

Per the following you will embark/disembark from the Pan American Pier which is not walkable from Old San Juan.  You will need to arrange transport (taxi, uber, etc).  However check your e-docs for the final port location/address as pier assignments can change

Anything is walkable - except maybe over water - - -

With that noted -

Is NCL using the old town cruise ports or the Pan American Pier ?

Last heard it was the Pan Am Pier

The old town piers are about a 4-5 block walk -

That Pan American Pier is going to be a trek an a half.

Red dot in center of old town is your CasaBlanca Hotel

Two ships are at the old town piers

Look to the right the Aeropuerto and the Pan Am Pier

If that is the case suggest a cab ride

Arriving San Juan by air ask your cab driver for details.

Hope this gives you an idea of the trek - - -

The taxi driver that took me to the Panamerican Pier in December explained that when a ship sails from Puerto Rico as the embarkation port the pier is the Panamerican Port because it is where the ship gets the fuel for the whole week. I saw it with my own eyes on disembarkation day when I was eating breakfast at the Taste restaurant and I had a table by the window. If Puerto Rico is just a Port of call, then you get the Old San Juan Port because the ship already had the fuel for the week at the embarkation port. That happened to me on my 2019 Breakaway cruise from Miami.

If your sailing from the Pan American pier...don't walk...uneven sidewalks some areas not paved and you won't be walking through a great area. Take a taxi their cheap.
