Check-In Email Notification: Is it reliable?

Hi everyone, we are about 94 days from our next cruise....if the world turns in a way that we can still cruise.

From memory, pre-Covid, on-line check-in used to be available 90 days, prior, to sailing. Nowadays, members have reported it to be 45 gays.

This said, on the Celebrity App it indicates that I will be notified by E-mail when check-in becomes available. My question is : Can I rely on that e-mail notification or do I need to monitor the situation regularly?

I have looked on the App via Ipad and Imac... and did not find the info.... Will it appear only within 90 days of sailing? After final payment? Or is there a specific place on the app to look for that info?

Never before final payment.   Today about 45 days.

FWIW I give X one try then simply show up at the pier documents in hand.  Not worth fighting with the Infamous X Website.

On my iPhone, the check in date is in the section with the little person icon on the top of the screen.  There's a ship, a calendar, and the person icon.  Scroll down and it's under the stateroom and muster station entry.  Mine is exactly 45 days out.

I'm not the OP, but thanks for posting that detail, I found it for my upcoming cruise and as you said, it is exactly 45 days prior to my departure date

I received a email about my documents available and was able to print luggage tags but still can not download my edocs.  Are these documents needed to board the ship or not?  If so anyone know when they are available, I am 30 days out as of today.

We only print the luggage tags and have never needed the edocs.
