Flight time out of FLL

My May 21 flight out of Ft. Lauderdale Airport was changed from 11:30 am to 10:15 am. Is this new time doable or it it too early?

I think that’s pushing way to the edge. It would be doable, technically, but everything would have go exactly to plan- non docking delays. Carry bags off. TSAPre, no security hangups. no bio break.

For a 10:15 flight you need to be at FLL by about 8:45 (and earlier is better with the usual TSA chaos); with the cab ride from PE to FLL taking about 15 minutes that translates into off the ship, with bags, and clear of customs/immigration by about 8:15 or so.

 

It can be done, but do you want to spend your cruise worried about making your flight home?  🤔  I would call the airline and let them know that the change does not work and find a flight leaving closer to noon, but it's your call.

Agree with @JohninDC. If you KNEW the ship would dock early and be allowing pax off by 7am, AND you can get yourself off the ship in that first 30 minutes, due to status, cabin level, or carrying your bags off, THEN race through Immigration and catch a cab...I would try it.

I would be comfortable with that time as long as you are willing to carry your bags off early.  Living on the western side of the US our flights are harder to come by and often either relatively early or late in the day.

Thanks everyone for your response. I changed to an 11:55 am departure. Rather be safe than sorry.
