Cool. I keep waiting for Carnival to appear on my Amex offers. Not sure it will happen though since they offer a Mastercard.

I've gotten offers through Amex and also a Chase Visa - they do not reserve their offers for their affiliated card.

Is this good on any carnival purchase or just new cruise bookings?

Any Carnival charge that is billed to your credit card as a Carnival charge. Note, some have tried to purchase gift cards that were billed under some type of gift card clearinghouse and did not appear as a Carnival charge. I've been able to get statement credits and cash back offers from Citi, Chase and Bank of America, all were redeemed by making partial payments on outstanding balance due of already booked cruises.

It should be for anything purchased thru carnival directly. I literally just bought a gift card Friday so I will be paying for my gratuities this coming Friday with this offer. It doesn't have to be for your booking though. It can be for anything you purchase on the website as well. And if I'm not mistaken for your onboard expenses as well if it is redeemed before the expiration date. My cruise is in late May so I'm prepaying gratuities which is over $100
