As a general rule, No.  But I will hedge since there are many cruise lines and I have only cruised on 16 of those lines (none of them would allow OBC to be used for a future booking.  When you book onboard most cruise lines they will want to immediately charge a credit card for any required deposit.

We have also cruised on numerous lines and the OBC policies were always the same -- that OBC could not be used for a deposit on a future cruise.

I would check with the cruise line in question

Most do not  but may depend where the OBC comes from

I haven't seen that done in my 23+ cruises, so I'm willing to bet not.

As everyone else has said, in our experience a deposit for a cruise booked on board must be made to your credit card and cannot be booked by way of a cruise line sponsored non-refundable OBC.  But as you do not mention a cruise line I agree as well to contact your specific cruise line in question to confirm. Maybe there are those that do - but IMO it is not likely.
