Symphony--cool/interesting areas/spaces/details on board?

Recommended Posts

Sailing with a group that enjoys nooks, crannies, cool spaces, etc.  Are there places that may escape the notice of most passengers but are still cool, either because they have a nice view, cool design details, etc.?

So far, we have heard about the small-ish balconies that overlook Central Park that provide a nice space for quiet & people-watching.

Regarding access, we are all adults but not D/lounge members.

The viewing platforms on either side of the ship in the lower level of the solarium on 14.

Deck 12 forward is interactive art, using your royal app, it's called x-ray vision where you can watch in real time what is happening on the bridge. The picture is of a captain's uniform but a piece of coral for the head.

Enjoy!

Symphony changed my mind, in a good way, as to how I feel about the mega ships.

There are some seating areas off the jogging track on deck 5.  Around the corner from the rock climbing wall, there is an area not too many people may visit that will be good for sail aways.

Agree witb both of these suggestions.

The area by the rock climbing wall is accessed through the aft door, deck 7.

Enjoy the views from deck 5, jogging track...very back of the ship with great views of the wake.

You can also take the stairs from the Boardwalk😉

Also a great place to watch Aqua Show. Port side has best view

Thanks John!...now I'll have to correct my mistake...I meant to say deck 9, not 7. :classic_biggrin:

You can get there via deck 7 hallway. That's the best way to sneak into Aqua Theater without reservations😉

9 is where you get to the CP overlooks

We watched sail away from a little nook at the end of the Boardwalk on deck 6...to the right of the Aqua Theater (port side near the restrooms). It's a small area but there were some chairs to sit and relax...and Playmakers bar is not too far away 🙂. We had a great view and pretty much had the space to ourselves.
