FCC out of the blue?

Not that I’m complaining, but just received a $50 FCC and have no idea what it’s for. We’ve yet to sail on X; our first cruise on Celebrity isn’t until 2024 and it hasn’t been canceled (plus $50 wouldn’t cover our deposit anyway). Any ideas??

Same. I got a $150 FCC with a Reservation number that matches my sailing on the Millennium to Alaska last July. Doesn't make any sense. Also, that was a Casino booking and I did sail on it.

Question is - what can I do with this voucher? My good guess is: Nothing at all. I guess I won't be able to apply it to future Casino bookings either or spend it on gratuities etc.

Could I use it on a RCCL cruise? They have have some 2-3 days trips out of Singapore I could blow it on.

Hmmm…now that I look at it, the booking number doesn’t match our current reservation.

I vaguely remember booking a cruise way back, when they had a $50 deposit special. We ended up booking an RCI ship instead and don’t think I ever canceled. Guess that sailing ended up falling into the Covid shutdown…

I received one for $98 on Royal Carribean. No idea what it's for. I couldn't apply it to a current booking because my TA has to do it. She's MIA and since I have until the end of the year to use it, I'm not pressing the issue. Maybe they're doing audits?

Can you enter the reservation number into the search of your email? That's how I found mine.

I never noticed the booking # isn't for any of my cancelled cruises.  I was expecting an FCC for $265 for one of my cancellations and the number on this certificate isn't for that one.  This obviously is a problem for many or the system's gone berserk again!
