We did a bid up to Aqua class to try Blu and would never do that again.

After finding the menu items less than appealing we went to the MDR and they told us we could order from the MDR menu In Blu. We ended up doing that A lot.

the low ceilings in Blu amplified the crowd noise and we felt confined so while I’m glad we tried it I would never pay to upgrade from a regular balcony cabin to Aqua again.

to each his ( or her) own..

Agreed. Sailed Aqua once on Med cruise. Overrated…..had much more fun with interesting people in MDR and the food in Blu was so so

Last time we cruised and were eating in Blu we we’re so unimpressed we ate in the MDR.  I was really disappointed as had been looking forward to Blu.

We have done aq a few times and each time get more and more disappointed.  The food fair- the tables for two on top of each other- not privacy.  We use the persian garden maybe once each cruise, and the cabin perks useless.

We sail mostly in suites now, but I would highly recommend a well located balcony cabin and a Unlimited Dining plan with the money saved.  A much better option.  If you need the points consider a CC cabin if the price isn't too much.  .  All of the  balcony cabins, including AQ are the same.

How much per day is the Unlimited Dining Plan? That's an interesting idea!!

Varies by ship.  And sales frequently.   We paid $229 pp for a nine day cruise on oasis

... and varies by cruise line... Celebrity do not have an 'Unlimited Dining Plan'...

.. but you can follow the same principle by making advance bookings and buying one of the multiple night packages.

We always booked AQ class  from time it was opened with BLU..We enjoyed the PG perk and definitely  getting away from the  crowd and din of the mdr. The lower salt, less gravy etc was appealing as well as the personalized svc.   Lately BLU has large group  banquet stye tables in 2 "seating times",  which adds alot of noise and places greatet demand on staff.!  Should not be allowed

BLU varies  by ship . We did not like the location and  slow kitchen  on EDGE..also had acoustics issues. Service staff was excellent.

We did miss not getting Prime Rib in BLU on any ship so we  always went to mdr thay night..no issues.  Hope you can now get the Prime Rib in BLU.

Next cruise we will be in Luminae but if that is crowded or noisy  we will go elsewhere.

So far, we really liked the 4 mdr plan on EDGE. with pre res made.

On the edge, blu was in a public hallway- so depending upon your seat was very noisy and people passing by- not relaxing at all.  We were on our last edge cruise in Luminae multiple times for dinner.  We liked it, but much larger then the M and S class luminae restaurants- you will enjoy it as compared to Blu.  We also tried one of the MDR's on the edge- really liked the concept of multiple MDR's.  We enjoyed the Greek dining.  While most of the offered items were the same in all of the MDR's, based on the type of restaurant you have a few choices of their special items.  Service always excellent IMO in all dining venues.

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I do not think that large groups should be able to book Aqua class, as it is too easy for a large group to, hopefully, accidentally overwhelm the specific Blu facilities if they coordinate as a group.

Sadly some of our worst cruises occurred when there were large groups onboard a ship, but it just gets magnified with Aqua class into something more impactful that it might be elsewhere.

I agree. A large group overwhelms any restaurant and ruins the service for everyone not in the group. Cruise ships should have a private area and servers for groups
