Disembarkation for Adventure of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon,

We'll be on the 9/10 sailing to Bermuda on Adventure of the Seas. We're leaving out of Bayonne. We haven't sailed RCL since pre-covid and I haven't sailed out of Bayonne since 2006. I believe we dock at 0700. We have to be in Delaware at 11am on the day that we return and would really like to get off the ship asap. So my question is, how is the disembarkation process in Bayonne? How fast do you think we can be off?

Thanks!

Definitely do self disembarkation and you should be able to walk right off as soon as the ship is cleared. Usually by 8:30 or so on the cruises I've been on.

Slightly OCD English major here:  easier to say and write debark and debarkation. The English language sucks: that's what you get for mixing Latin, German , and "Auld" English together.

Where in Delaware? We live near Bayonne and it takes us at least 2 hours to get to Newark.

First time I read this I thought Newark, NJ...and shook my head in agreement because with traffic on construction on the extension, it could realistically take 2 hours 🙂. Then I realized you  meant Newark, DE.
