jamesnnb Posted August 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2022 Does anyone know if Quantum will be able to dock at Skagway (rockslide) or anchor — or have to skip Skagway all together? We’re there Sept 8th.

We’re there Sept 8th. The schedule shows Quantum will be using the Railroad Aft berth, which means you will be using tenders to the small boat harbor from the railroad dock. https://secureservercdn.net/198.71.233.189/2xl.54d.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/SKG-Skagway-2022.pdf Edited August 12, 2022 by JT1962
Rare CTSandy Posted August 12, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2022 On Quantum right now - they used tenders, a very long process! Anyone in a wheelchair who could not walk a few steps in and out of the tender had to skip this port.
PhoenixCruiser Posted August 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2022 What about the Radiance?
Ptroxx Posted August 13, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2022 So the problem with Skagway and tendering is you only have access to half your tenders. When I was there last week our Capt mad arrangements to borrow tenders from a holland A ship. Lines were long but fast. And when they finally opened another line they moved faster. If you get a chance to sit outside on the tender upstairs. It’s a better ride in the fresh air. Lol.
