Crowsie Posted August 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Sailing on Week 1 of the NFL season in a couple of weeks and wondering if we will be able to watch NFL games on board? Specifically looking at Vikings vs Packers at 3:15 on Sunday. Do any of the bars have the games playing while in port and at sea? Thanks!
missnd Posted August 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2022 In my experience, they usually have one game on for each of the timeslots. Those decisions are made in Miami and broadcast out to all of the ships, so the people on the ship can't change to another game at anyone's request. It should be in the daily what games they are showing and where.
tallnthensome Posted August 27, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2022 They won't have any specific NFL game by choice .
blackshirt Posted August 27, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Since that is probably the only nationally broadcast game on at that time slot, good chance that will be the game shown.
casofilia Posted August 28, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2022 Unless they have changed provider the sports come through from SPORT 24. Keep an eye on at https://sport24live.com/schedule remember that the times shown are in GMT
CaliMom05 Posted August 28, 2022 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2022 Last year we were on the Escape and the Rams and 49ers were playing on Monday Night football. I sat down to wait for the game to start and instead of football all the bar TVs were showing a rugby or soccer game (can't remember which one). The bartender told me to go to guest services because all the ship TVs are linked and they could possibly change the broadcast. I went down and asked nicely and in 10 minutes they had switched over to Monday Night football. It was awesome until my Rams went downhill fast but It was way better than the programming that had previously been shown. I don't know how it works on Sunday games - maybe I was just lucky? 2boyzmom Posted August 28, 2022 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2022 I recall seeing games in O'Sheehans. We actually did not book dinners for the Sunday upcoming cruise since we just want to have wings and watch the games!
Rare graphicguy Posted August 28, 2022 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2022 This was before COVID, but I remember watching an NFL game on SPICE H20’s big screen, but the rest of the bar TVs were showing something else.
Rare debenson0723 Posted August 28, 2022 #9 Share Posted August 28, 2022 On both of my cruises during football season (September and November) football was available to watch on Sunday all day, Monday night and Thursday night. It was on the big screen by the pool deck, DBH, The Local and in your stateroom. You did not get a pick of teams...it was the nationally televised game. So yes, there is football on board but it will probably not be your local team, unless you get lucky.

So I'm not sure what happened to my original post about watching NFL games on NCL - this section was not added by me - very strange: "I can still suggest from myself some interesting games actually. It's not hard, you can even play blackjack now. It's really just an awesome game and I recommend everyone here to take a look and read https://pokiesman.com/blackjack/ where you can find blackjack, here's a list of casinos that have it. Plus you can really get yourself all the information about this cool game quickly. I recommend it." How can I figure out who added this crap to my original post?
