UDP Changes depending on cruise??

Good afternoon / evening 

Any advice given is much appreciated.

 

There seems to be lots of contradictions regarding what venues allow the use of the UDP on Odyssey of the seas..we are sailing in a few weeks, trying to get some clarity..

 

The majority seem to agree that Playmakers and Giovannis bar are included??
 

Any thoughts if the Pub is included?? Or does it just depend on the sailing.

a la carte pricing has a fixed price amount that you can use.  IF you go over that amount, you pay the differance.

As far as I know, you can use the UDP everywhere on the ship (maybe except at Starbucks)?

On Mariner last May and Playmakers was definitely included a la carte up to $20 per person.  That was per visit as well.  The wings are pretty good.

The only thing in question are the pubs.  Many reports on on it being included on Odyssey which seems to be the exception as it is not included at most of the other pubs or at Vintages on Oasis class.

 

Playmakers is considered more of a restaurant than a pub so it has always been included there.

It’s all very confusing….which it should not be. On buying the UDP you should’ve advised what is included…

 

Will wait till we board..,.straight to the pub…

If you get a good server they will just open up a new tab to never cause you to have to pay the difference. It's these servers that I tip well.

We just got off the Symphony and Vintages was very confusing.  The compass lists Vintages in both the restaurant and bar categories.  I tried to order the meat plate and bruschetta at Vintages and was told i couldnt use the UDP.  I actually spoke to the restaurant manager about it and how its confusing on the compass.  We ended the conversation with this clarification - couldnt order the platter and bruschetta from Vintages, but could walk the 30 feet to Jaimes Italian, order the same platter and bruschetta from them, and just take it to Vintages and eat it there.  It was absurd.

That’s a perfect example of how confusing it is…there needs to be much better clarity.

Yes - no issues at playmakers.  Went there a few times and loved it.
