We are sailing on the 15th - just to clarify - you were allowed to stay in your cabin and weren't moved to another one?

My husband is disabled and dependent on me for assistance, so if only one of us would test positive we would have to stay together and I would like to think we could stay in our OV balcony.

You self tested on day one, and was positive?  So you did not get it on the ship but someplace else.  Did you test because you felt sick or just did it on day one because you wanted to?

I'm trying to understand if someone has COVID on a cruise.  How do you know if you do with little to no symptoms?  I read people get quarantined.  Do they self report or go to the onboard doctor, or both?
