baggal Posted November 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2022 Looking for moderately priced hotel (up to $350 night) in Amsterdam for both pre and post cruise. Preferably a Marriott hotel, if possible. Thanks,
Ine Posted November 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2022 Prices depend so very much when, highseason or not etc. . There is a Marriott Hotel more or less city center. Apart from that there also is: The W hotel, city center near the royal Palace, Renaissance Hotel, near Centraal Station and not that far from the cruise terminal. Also hotels like the Sir Albert, a Courtyard, College Hotel, and more. If you check the Marriott website, put in the dates, you will all see them. Vivica_V Posted November 13, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2022 I was just there and stayed at Novotel by the airport. You can take the train from the airport and walk 2-3 blocks to the hotel. It was clean and met my expectations.
Ashland Posted November 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2022 Might be out of your budget but do check for your dates. We loved the Banks Mansion. Great location, amazing breakfast and open bar in lobby and some liquor & drinks in your room. We will definitely stay there again.

Rare markeb Posted November 16, 2022 #7 Share Posted November 16, 2022 Probably the Renaissance, and no. I’m not aware of any hotels in Amsterdam with a shuttle. Maybe the exist.

Dutch_Travelgirl Posted November 16, 2022 #10 Share Posted November 16, 2022 Very few, if any, hotels in Amsterdam offer a shuttle. This is probably because there is no real need for hotel shuttles as the public transport system is excellent and easy to use. Hotel prices in Amsterdam are very much date depended. A hotel that costs €200 per night on a weekday in November, can easily cost €400 or even more during the weekend at the peak of the tulip blooming time in April. So any hotel advice where a budget is involved is meaningless without knowing when exactly you want to stay in Amsterdam.
