Café Promenade questions

I love sandwiches.  So seeing they had sandwiches I was excited.  
Something other than pizza.  But maybe I'm tooo simple.  All the sandwich options were odd.  
Nothing normal like ham and cheese. turkey and cheese.  They had Bree and turkey, mushroom and tomato.  
always something maybe too fancy for my taste.  It doesn't seem like they made anything on demand. 
OR
I was ordering something close and taking it apart, sometimes they had salami on the side or some cheese.  then making my own version.  

Has anyone noticed this?  Have you gotten special requests?

Cafe Promenade sandwiches are one of the few things I don't eat on cruises... and I eat A LOT when I cruise. Not sure if more basic options would change that but it couldn't hurt. The type you're describing aren't appealing to me either.

Someone told me the tuna and avacado slices sandwich in the WJ was good. I love avacado but tuna not so much. Agree need oasis class and roast beef.

Ask an officer in the Windjammer for what you are looking for. Ham and cheese between 2 slices of bread. Add tomatoes and condiments off the bar. I have found them very accomodating.

Promenade is definitely not for special orders. But they always have cold cuts and cheese at the windjammer so  you can easily make your own. Confused ,you said you wanted ham and cheese, then listed a ham and brie cheese sandwich? so you're looking for a specific cheese?
