bidding on full suite

I have a Club Class mini suite, never bid on a full suite.

 

Any chance of success in bidding on a suite at a very low price?

I would doubt it would be super low as most sell out at full price

If the suites were sold out, they wouldn't be offered a a bid upgrade. I got a penthouse suite at just above minimum bid from CC mini.

On my upcoming cruise, they were requesting bids for an Owner’s suite and none of them are available for booking.

It would be foolish for them not to take bids just because suites were sold out. The point of the system is to maximize profits. Cancellations can and do happen; taking bids for sold out categories means that when those cancellations happen (especially last minute when it would be difficult to resell the cabin), Princess is able to accept an already placed bid and immediately increase their profit.

bid on a aft suite . Did it on a Thursday night and  by next morning it was accepted.

I had a mini suite and bid the minimum bid for the Aft facing Suite.Will experience the Suite Life next week.
