Beyond...adjoining verandah question

My brother/sister in-law are next door to us in sky suites on deck 10.  Can we ask the room attendance to remove the barrier or open it up in any way?  Thanks.

Not sure of official policy, but on a recent Edge cruise our travel mates were in the SS next door and our steward opened the partition for us.

I also have an adjoining cabin question for the Beyond.  We are in adjoining IV cabins.  Can the doors between be propped open? Thank you!

Probably if you bring a door stop, but anyone walking down the hall will be able to look into your cabin.

Are they adjacent or are the rooms described as connecting? Which room numbers are they?

I apologize for the confusion.  They are connecting rooms.  The doors I’m referring to are the interior connecting cabin doors. I just was wondering if we could prop the doors open in between the two cabins.  Thank you

If there are interior connecting doors then you can request they be unlocked.
