Looks more like medium to me. 😜

For some reason it was redder than it looked .

i am sure had I let it rest, it would have been medium.

Full disclosure, while not color blind, I do not have normal color vision.

Reports are that wow bands are back on some ships and someone mentioned using one on Harmony recently.   They used to provide them for free for sky class.  Can you report on if they are using them and if they are giving them to sky class guests?

I was able to start reading this thread last night, but for some reason I couldn't log in to post.  My DD and I boarded Harmony of the Seas yesterday, for a b2b totally two weeks.  It was the easiest check in we have ever experienced!  All the workers in the terminal were well coached to speed us through the process.  We arrived by Uber about noon, and didn't have to wait at all.

We both reached Diamond status last cruise, so we were able to wait comfortably in the Diamond lounge till our cabin was ready, shortly after 1:00.  A few days ago I was notified that there might be some noise and dust in the vicinity starting next week, and the breakfast and evening food in the DL would be moved to other venues.  JAZZ on 4 is currently located right next to the DL.  Well, as many have guessed (on a different thread), it seems as if JAZZ on 4 is about to be repurposed into a non-smoking casino space.  We had hoped that we would still be able to enjoy jazz there this week, but they were doing something with the sign over the entrance to it last night.  Today's cruise compass lists Jazz in the Park with Melange Quartet from 6:45-10:00 pm, so maybe we'll be able to enjoy it from our Central Park balcony instead.

I won't hijack this thread, but may add a few comments here and there, from the perspective of mother and daughter, aged 83 & 58, staying in a Central Park balcony cabin.  We'll be dining at 5 pm in the MDR every night, plus one lunch today at Chops.

The aqua show was cancelled last night, right at showtime, due to the strong wind and rough seas.  The performers were suited up, ready to go on, but a sizeable portion of the pool water had already splashed out.  They came out for a bow, and the show was rescheduled for day three.  We hung out at the Schooner Bar and people watched the folks on the Promenade for a bit, then called it an early night.

We used our $50 OBC for lunch at Chops today.  It was WONDERFUL!  Although I am eschewing bread and all desserts this week (mild dieting and trying to kick my sugar addiction), I ate their yummy salted pretzel rolls.  DD had the colossal shrimp appetizer, and I opted for the iceberg wedge with blue cheese and bacon.  We both got the 8 oz fillet, medium rare, which was cooked perfectly.  The only sides we chose were gruyere tater tots and asparagus.  Everything was DELICIOUS!  Looking forward to the ice show tonight, probably followed by a hot tub.

@Sea Dog I took one for the team and tried the Yellow Rose.  Not too bad.  I’d drink it again.

I also verified no Woordford or Maker’s Mark.

Thanks for the pics. I have seen the Balcones. It’s ok. I’ve never seen the Yellow Rose. It’s nice they have a rye too. Any Templeton Rye? Sad no Woodford or Makers.

I have not see or heard mention of any bands except for the wrist bands they will be giving us for barefoot beach tomorrow in Labadee.

My family also boarded Harmony yesterday, for a B2B. Looking forward to reading your review!

We had reservations for the 10:30 show, surprisingly it was not cancelled. Amazing performance!

Thanks for the info.  Sounds like you buy them if you want them (even in suites).  I don’t use them but my wife might.  We will bring an old one on our next cruise to see if they will reprogram it.

Enjoy barefoot beach.  We had a great day there in December.

Tonight after dinner in the Coastal Kitchen, we walked down and went through the Windjammer.

The entire port side was open.  The only cooked to order I saw was the crepe station. There was a carving station and while I did not take pictures, because it was busy, there looked to be plenty of selections.

As tonight was the first formal night, I will go at least one other time and try to get pictures of the entrees.  I can tell you this the busiest station was where you get hot dogs and hamburgers.

Dessert’s were certainly plentiful.

As for attendance, I would say it was between 40 & 50 percent full, with most being families with young children.

@Grandma Petania Please feel free to comment on anything ir everything.  Certainly do not want this to be limited to my observations as we are pretty non-adventurous.

We are scheduled for Columbus and A Journey in Time (Ice show) tomorrow night.

Found out today we can make additional reservations so we may move some things around later in the cruise.

@karebare22 Thank you for your update.  Please feel free to comment here on your experiences as well.

We’ve heard good things about that show and arr looking forward to seeing it on Day 5.

We thought Columbus was funny.  Perfect show in that less than an hour, but a fun and unique show.  The ice show is great too.

Honestly thought our recent Harmony trip was one of the best we’ve done for entertainment (shows).  The aqua show, while the same name as several years back, was much better now.

Enjoy.

Thank you.  Cannot wait until we see them. Stopped by the Schooner Bar tonight but was crowded and noise from the Promenade was distracting.  So I hit the “Easy Button” and went for a nitecap  in the Suite Lounge.

Thank you.  That makes me feel real good.

I found out my new best friend , Eloy from the Suite Lounge bar, also does an hour or two at Sabor in the early afternoon so told him I’d make sure and drop by for a margarita on afternoon.

Good morning from Labadee.

After calling it a somewhat early night, we decided to sleep in and have room ssrvice this morning. Based on previous experience we did not order coffee but used the kettle our room attendant provided us made hot water for the tea we brought from home.

My DW had scrambled eggs with bacon, fruit plate, wheat toast, and apple juice.  I went with english bacon, fried eggs cooked hard, bacon, and orange juice.  I made myself a bacon & egg sandwich!

I decided to take a walk and went ashore for a nice stroll.  I stopped by Barefoot Beach, got my wristband, and went inside the reserved area.  It was a lot more crowded than I remember from out last visit here and the beach area seems smaller.  I think this is because in my memory there were a lot fewer cabanas and more beach seating.  Anyway, I only stopped to take a few pictures before continuing up to the Artesian Market and turning around and walking bavk to the ship to take a few pictures from the Solarium.
