Good morning @Jim_Iain from the Silhouette. Looking at the waves it seems like a rough patch for the Apex. Hoping it doesn’t get too poor of conditions.

Will let the pix speak for self.   All on Apex - be careful as walking is difficult.  I just grabbed a lady almost flying into elevator and cautioned her to us rails.   She said my my we definitely don’t have our sea legs. IMG_2867.thumb.jpeg.fbf078e512eb89f41bd972535079e9c2.jpeg

I didn’t do well on our 3.5 meter days (12 feet per the Captain). Eventually, I’ve accustomed to it, mostly when we were at 3 meters. The Apex looks to have a more difficult weather system. Stay safe.  -BN

It’s been quite peaceful on the high seas so far as we head towards Papeete, Tahiti.

But I have to say Eddy Jenkins has been an awesome cruise director so far as there has always been a variety of options for things to do around the ship, especially in the evenings and on sea days! Funny thing is the only time we were on a Celebrity transoceanic cruise before was 8 years ago on the Eclipse, and Eddy was our cruise director!

Beautiful Ken.     Just got caught up on your thread.   I jealous.   No walking for me today.

looking at webcam looks like captain may break through into a calm center.  At least a sun spot ahead. IMG_2873.thumb.jpeg.ba6511ae0425bfa7ee9eba9acb16cc05.jpeg

I use the free site at Windy dot com.  I'm not sure that I can give anything but a positive review for a free site.

I'm having problems trying to enter coordinates.   When I enter our coordinates I get a place in Greece

Tried all 3 of their suggested formats

Jim , which site are you using for vessel finder ?

I usually Google Current Location Celebrity Apex

Cruise Mapper is usually top search.  Click current position.   If you hover or click other purple ship will identify.    I also like it that shows all itineraries.

You're a more sophisticated user than me.  I have no idea how to input my location in the free version of Windy.  Perhaps you need the App or the Premium version.

As a grey head hacker, it intrigues me and will have to play and see if I can do in via html.   We will see but have lots of sea days to play.

I was able to find Apex on the Windy app by using the lat/long numbers, but putting a comma in between, not a slash. Looks like it's still rocky out there!

I've been posting a Weather Only thread.   Some post from members on the other ships.    Constellation has had a smooth sunny southern Crossing.  Reflections just posted they are changing their Chic night to tonight as they are going to get heavy seas tomorrow.   Haven't checked where they are but were behind us yesterday but they are heading to Spain

Jim - I've been saying I want to cruise with you and Iain but now, I'm sure.  You have my heart!! Heck, I want to move in with you guys!!!  Pretty please.  Lol...

First - that picture!!

Second - I eat that way also.  It's so hard sometimes.

Third - After we lost our Gunther 4 years ago, my hubby and I talked about another dog or not.  He said if I wanted to travel, no more dogs.  I said I wanted to travel and not have my heart broken again.  Two months later I come home from work and there he was with a dog on the back porch.  I literally kept driving around the house and back out the driveway.  I stayed angry for days.  But now our Abby has our heart.

We both had the chocolate brownie.  I liked it but Iain said he would have ordered the soufflé had he known.   They have a different REAL Brownie that he likes.

Yes Boss.    Sonny is so cute.

I told Yuksel that in 1959 my first job was a dishwasher as a summer job.   I was quickly promoted because I guess my manager saw potential.  I was promoted to a floor sweeper, then Salad man chopping and dicing, then Deserts and Baker, Broilers and finally an assistant to the chef in a French Restaurant.

Yuksel also started as a worker in crew bar and made his way up to MD.

He really gave me and a worker a great gift.  Something I dare say no other guest has ever received.   He brought a nice man with a smile that would not go away to introduce to us.  He is a new employee in whites that is a dishwasher and Yuksel in front of him said this is my next raising star.   I feel so privileged to meet him and hope some day to say I remember when I first met you.   He was beaming.

I love the art work on Apex.  Iain saw an advert for a curated tour of the artwork on the ship.

Last night I asked Elena about it and she said it was $58.99 pp.   She then said have a seat and I will share with you what I know.

Incredible what she shared.

Ya know the Iconic heart

It is actually two hand- one of a man and one a woman to show unity. If you look close, the one on the left is smaller.

Also on deck 3 forward of Tuscan the eco-skeleton is visible and you can look up and dow the ship.    Many of the builders wrote their names on the steel.

Due to slats you will only notice it if walking forward.

I will just share one more thing.   The have some original art from The Normandy in the MDR of that name.  The Apex and Beyond (maybe the others) were built in the same shipyard as the Normandy

I have been doing my own tour and we may still sign up for the ships tour.

On each floor they have a different collection and describe it on a plaque near the elevator bank.

Today we will explore Deck 3.  I was down looking for the revealed ships skin.

Just a couple of my favorites.
