Here are the basic odds and how I play them on a place bet.

Place bets

6&8 7to6 always $6 increments

5&9 3 to 5 always $5 increments

4&10 2 to 1 always bet $20

so you are playing $42 a roll?  No pass or fail bets?

No I don’t do that, just a pass line or don’t pass bet with odds after point is established and then only 6 & 8 place bet. I shy away from 4,5,9 and 10. So if it’s a $10 minimum table I’ll have $10 on the pass line and after the point is established say 4, I’ll put a $12 bet on each of numbers 6 & 8 . So I may have a minimum of $34 on the table. If the point is 8 I’ll only put a place bet on the 6.

There are a bunch of strategies and everyone plays differently. This is just how I play. Someone else may have a whole different perspective and way they play.

Curious if you menu's are matching up.   On Apex they have had a couple mismatches.   One day wrong desert menu.

All I can say is the menus for BLU and TUSCAN do not match up at all. Quite unfortunate as I was looking forward to the Dover Sole at Tuscan just to be told it's not available.

I am about even in the casino.  The DW is down a bit.  We’ve really not gambled a lot this week don’t think I even hit 100 points.

The casino running out of cash seems unusual but as more and more people gamble wiyh OBC, less and less cash is going in so that does make some sense.

Winning $8,000 at craps sounds like I need to learn to play that game.

OBC and playing the CC points game, I guess, takes its toll on cash reserves. They also said they don't open the machines to empty out the cash before the end of the sailing, which is the oddest thing I've ever heard. So if a machine gets busy and suddenly is full of cash, they let it go out of order?

I guess to win $8k, you have to wager quite a bit higher than the table minimums, have a good streak or land a few hopping bets. You could also play your Roulette strategy with $25 chips instead of $1 and really spiral up your rating and comps, but that takes some nerves as well. Also, I don't trust Celebrity/BCC's table game rating system.

I feel the same way about the table game rating system.  I have spent approximately 3-hours on 3 occasions betting $25 a spin on roulette and I think I have a total of 50 points this cruise.  A lot of that may have come from the slots I have played as well.

I guess I just don’t spend as much on the slots as I should.

I don’t know about Blu but I have checked Tuscan multiple times and dined there once this cruise and the App and the menu matched.  I have not seen Dover Sole on the the menu in the app and it was not on the printed menu when we dined there.

Something experienced Celebrity cruisers might recognize as an AFFACADO, with a slight modification.

Slots earn 1 Freeplay point (displayed on the machine) for $5 wagered which translates later into 5 BCC points.

Do you have BCC status at the moment? Meaning Onyx, Amethyst, or Sapphire.

I saw it on the app then they asked me to refresh... BOOM - GONE! Story of my life. 😛

I am currently Onyx

We should meet at some point and talk strategy.  I’m buying 🙂

Sure. Try to ask Liam the host for the exact number of BCC points currently on your account. It might make sense to go on a slots run on the Fu Dao Le machine to get to Amethyst.

I looked at my account when I finished playing slots a short while ago and was at 115.

Okay, I’ll look for that machine when we are down there next time.  I’ve had the most lunch on the Wheel games.  Turned $20 into $67 earlier this afternoon.

I usually play until i loose half of what I put in, double what I put in, and or hit a big payout and then cash out.

Blue Chip Club hasn't reset the point balance since 2021, so you should be "up there" provided you play regularly.

I emailed them to request my Win/Loss statement for last year and they replied with the total number of points on the account which the host can see as well.

Hello,

Thank you so much for contacting Blue Chip Club, you would find your win/loss statement attached to this email. At the moment you have a total of 35,657 points and your tier is Amethyst.

Sincerely,
Celebrity Cruises

That’s very kind of you. Hope someone will reach out to you because no alcohol deserves to go down the drain.

I'm sure the room steward would use it if left behind. We've done that before. 🙂

Thank you for that information.  What I was looking at when I said I had 115 points is what the slot machine shows when I check Account information.

Since we predominately sail in Suites, not sure it makes much difference.

It only displays points for the current sailing never the overall balance because their it is made by Fred Flintstone.

It should make a difference because as Amethyst you get a free cruise plus offers.

The only place I have found Dover Sole is at Murano - one of my favorite dishes!

I’ll look for it again tomorrow

I just turned $20 of OBC into $193 on a $0.25 Wheel of Fortune machine and called it a night.

Do you like this one the best?

Yes, in my experience it gives the best payouts over time IF you only play $1.28/$1.68 a spin. Of course I realize that any kind of slot "strategy" is largely hocuspocus and depends on pure luck but there is something about this machine (not only on the ship but in Vegas too) that makes the payouts pretty decent. Much easier to get bonuses too, I can't believe how many I got this time.

I can't understand those. Yesterday I got a Gold Spin Deluxe, it landed on 1100 credits and still only paid 180 so I moved on.

** Captains Announcement **

Ship will go to Acapulco due to a medical emergency and transfer the sick guest shoreside for treatment. We'll be there in an hour from now (9:00am).

Shouldn't have too much impact on the overall schedule, however, depending on how much time the ship can make up later, there might be a delayed arrival in Puerto Vallarta tomorrow morning.
