Sports Bar on K’dam

Now that my Gators are playing in the College World Series final this weekend, what bar on the K’dam has sports on big screen TV’s? Thanks in advance!

Perhaps I just wasn’t paying close enough attention, since I don’t follow sports, but I don’t recall any of the bars on the Koningsdam having large-screen TVs airing sports (or anything else). I do know I had conversations with two different groups while I was on board last month who had major games they wanted to watch who resorted to trying to stream them on their phones/tablets using the ship’s wifi, to varying success.

That's correct - none of them do.  I don't imagine they'd be showing that on the big screen by the pool - I think they do something bigger like Super Bowl, but not routine sports championships.  I don't ever recall hearing of HAL showing MLB world series games  on that screen, so it's doubtful they'd do so for college level.

The bar in the casino shows sports. I doubt that they will have the College World Series on but you can ask them.

Usually the bar have Futbol but you could ask if they can change if its on. There is a sports channel you can get in the room that may have the game. I believe the ship satellite channels only has certain licenses for broadcasting. Even the super bowl one year was ESPN channel and didn't show the network commercials (just ESPN commercial, over and over).

Just my two cents but it’s unlikely the game will be carried on the ship. It’s mostly international sports, even on ESPN2. It’s possible the game could be broadcast internationally but is unlikely.

Didn’t try the bars but glad to report that the onboard ESPN carried the game. Hoping for a better result today!

I couldn't care less, but no sports bar would be a dealbreaker for DH.

Thanks for letting the sports fans know your experience!  I'm happy for you that you got to see your baseball team play.  (I had to google who and what the heck they are, but I get it!!!!  😁)
