Now that we are in July it is THIS month that Crystal returns to cruising.   Yea!!

 

I wonder when Serenity will leave dock and do its "tewt" cruise?

Did you mean test cruise.

 

They will be doing a shake down cruise on July 25.

Will there be guests on the shake down cruise? Thinking travel agents, friends of Manfredi, and others? It's one thing to see if all the mechanical things work, but assume they need to test the hotel side too.

Patty, it will be for Travel Agents so a good test of the hotel side and a good opportunity for them to see first hand the new product.

It’s for travel agents…there will also be a shakedown cruise for the symphony.

I know if is probably normal but it strikes me if they find problems  it doesn't give them much time to fix.

Yes it is normal and like new ships or major dry docks they will find things and some weeks afterwards just like a new house.  😀
