Has anyone filed a trip insurance claim for Princess Gift Certificates that were used to pay toward a Princess Cruise that now had been cancelled? Any advice on filing the claim amount?  The Certificate value or the AARP price?  Any comments?

As most of us know, the various aspects of the AARP Gift Card have been discussed quite a bit these past few months. I found this post, similar to others I've read, that mentions the AARP Gift Card $$$ posted to a booking that is later cancelled are placed back on the original GC(s) they came from, or am I interpreting this person's experience incorrectly?

While I have not had to experience this first-hand...this is my understanding.  I just wish the GCs were set up the same way for Celebrity!
