Formal nights

I know this has been asked many times before, I just can't find it!.....How many formal nights on a five night cruise?....thanks!

Five night cruise = one night suggest dress you best...not enforced.

Formal nights are a thing of the past, dress the way that makes you happy.

Not required, but some will and some will not.

When we started back cruising after Covid we did not do anything like we used too.  We did not get to start back cruising until January of this year.  After a few cruises we realized we were only hurting ourselves because we enjoyed dressing up.  We now dress up for formal night.  We do it because it makes us happy.  If others don’t want to we don’t care.  I don’t pay attention to how others dress.

We have always dressed up until last couple of cruises, my wife will still dress up in a nice evening dress and me in jacket without tie!

I think it’s actually pretty wonderful that we all get to do what we want!  Everybody has a great time!  That’s exactly why we go!

Since the restart, it seems each cruise I've been on has less and less people dressing formally. Still a good percentage going all out, but an ever growing percentage that goes casual. This especially goes for the 2nd formal night.
