Encore one or two evening shows?

Does Encore have one, or two, evening shows in the grand salon? What times? Or does it vary?

Depends on the passenger load.  They try to do just one unless the ship is absolutely full-they don't like to wear out the performers due to their 'huge' workload. 

 

If one, the show is normally around 9:45pm.  If two, then 9:15pm and 10:00pm, but it can vary.

There were two shows on Encore each evening recently.

I didn't go to any.

Tim Rice has outstayed his welcome.

Mandy Muden is still doing the same act as last century.

We had a Steinway concert pianist who apparently was excellent.

On the Ovation recently, the show had been rejigged so that Sir Tim was not droning on about himself for half the performance.  It was better, but I'm over it too.

We thought the new Tim Rice show was a shadow of the last one. Didn’t do it for us and we will not attend again. We went to the last one a few times.

Thanks to all for the replies. We saw the new Tim Rice show last month (Odyssey). I appreciated the refresh attempt, but we didn’t know very many of the songs. I agree, it’s time for a new concept.

My guess is that CCL (Seabourn) paid a pretty hefty sum to Sir Tim and they are going to get their money's worth out of it.

Having met him on board ship lat year I have no desire to repeat the experience. He was rude to me, so I returned the favour. As to his show, it helped me sleep, unfortunately I was in the theatre and not my bed.
