The "kindergarten walk" for the turnaround was delayed about 45 min. That delay & the rain changed our plans for today, but we've been busy and just got settled enough to to post.

We like the adult milkshakes at Ellen's Stardust Diner (double yum for the mint chocolate chip), so we were a bit disappointed not to go. We reset our tastebuds and replaced it with an early dinner at Teppanyaki. I know, almost the same, right?🫣

Thanks, I'll be meeting up with friends on the spring cruise and than family afterwards, so it should be great. I guess this cruise wasn't in the cards for me. Almost gave it up 2 months ago. My husband had trouble getting it approved. Got through that only to have all kinds of havoc this week. But maybe I'll treat myself to a $700 cabana this time. Maybe.

*Receive new cards (Terrazzo sticker missing) - wasn't asked for the old one, didn't scan the old one; get picture taken

*Joey (CD) stopped in to find out reason for delay & grab some grub; and he's out

*OK, let's go - we're on the move. Time check is 10:14.

*"Hi - right this way to scan, you can start a new line" - Face Req worked great 👍 👏 I got a green check mark first try (leave glasses on)

*Wheel chairs left to elevator, everyone else walk up the stairs between the escalators.

*Drug dog does not care about our rations

* Back in cabin 11:08am, 64°

Took 24 min to do customs process, took 20 min to get back to cabin (navigate new pax getting on and limited elevators avail).

Breakfast this morning for Turnaround Day was in the Canal Grand, 3 aft. Wouldn't have gone had we known continental breakfast was available in Marco Polo where we met for customs clearance.

Me - Broken egg sandwich (ordered hard fried, rec'd very runny; said extra crisp bacon, it was not), ham,  Danish, melon, OJ, coffee.

Sis - oatmeal, bacon, apple juice. Somehow her pix disappeared.

Lady at next table - pancakes, hashbrowns, crisp bacon 🥓 OJ.

Worse breakfast all cruise 😞

Found a duck on the way to Lido for lunch.

Beef stuffed something, creamy pasta w/broccoli 🥦, seasoned potatoes, orange cream layer cake & cookies for later.

Much busier today than last Sat  - feels like a full ship; last week did not

Changed dining from Steakhouse to Teppanyaki. Will do Steakhouse last sea night. We pack during the day, so no issue getting luggage out by deadline. 

Steak & teriyaki chicken again - it is fabulous. Dendi loves hearts.

They brought me edamame & veg roles since I don't eat shrimp or tuna. Unlike last week, my table mates did not want them. Sis had steak & shrimp.

It is sooooo good - we are doing lunch there. Same menu, $5 less. The steaks were so pretty being laid on the grill - beautiful cuts, very tender. I asked him to grill my onions a bit longer - no problem. 

When I ordered the broken egg 🥪 last week, it was perfect - hard fried and crispy bacon. Maybe they have a different chef this week or maybe the server didn't understand "hard, hard fried - well done."

Got Terrazzo stickers and new bands when we dropped off the Canada declaration forms. Bands are brown this week. Too wet and windy to use them yet.

Terrazzo Sea Day brunch is 11:30am Thurs.

Hey @Cherries Jubilee make this easy - go for lunch. Since it's the same menu at reduced price, no need to risk missing it or MDR menu that you may like. Hint - if you like either edamame or veg roles, ask to sub one of your other 5 apps.

BTW the pork belly is also very good.

We missed sail away - thought it was still 🌧. Saw some great pictures of Lady Liberty 🗽- much better than we got last week.
