On a recent Celebrity Cruise they didn't open the bars until sail away and we plan on staying onboard on a couple of ports on our upcoming Seaview sailing from Palma. Can anyone confirm that MSC keep their bars (specifically YC) open whilst in port? Thanks

My experience on the Mediterranean is that many bars are closed during the day but the YC bar is open.

Never seen a bar close in YC in the Med so far.

Sailed two Greek Isles cruises with Disney Cruise Line this year, one of them called at Chania and that was the only port of call where bars were closed until the ship left (weird since that was not an issue at any of the other Greek ports, and I seriously doubt port authorities in Greece have the regulative power to enforce this on their location and their location only).
