We have been on Italian trains close to 100 times over the years.  We have only had our tickets checked about a half dozen times.

We had a really nice day walking around Gibraltar today. 

 

 

 

 

 

We had lunch at our favorite Fish & Chips restaurant.  Hands down the best in Gibraltar.  We have had lunch here at least 5 times in the past, has never dissapointed.

That's interesting.  I wonder why the discrepancy in the number?  Oh well, it is still very high.  Enjoy the lunch! 🙂

Tonight we had dinner at Sabatini's.  Probably not the best night to do so after the Fish & Chips lunch, but we powered through!  We did pass on the dessert.  🤣

 

The food and service were outstanding.  We do not care for the location of the restaurant on Deck 7.  We had a table against the back wall, so we were not on display from the passing passengers. 

 

The music from the Piazza was mixing with the Italian music playing in the restaurant.  That was annoying.

It's a terrible place to place a restaurant. At least they could have put up a clear partition to keep the volume down.

We were saying the same thing while sitting there.  They could enclose the entire restaurant with glass walls and enter through glass doors.  🤷‍♂️

This morning at breakfast, Nicola asked about our experience at Sabatini's last night.  We explained the issue regarding the music from the Piazza.

 

He stated that there is a definite plan to place a glass partition alongside the Piazza side of the restaurant.  This probably will not happen until the next dry dock.

 

Speaking of breakfast, this morning I had the BELT sandwich.  They replaced the bacon with avocado.  Sweet!

I was wondering about this. We dined in Bistro last year and were not fans of the location. 
Glad to see all the positive reviews of Catch though!

This seems like such a simple fix.
I believe the ambiance at Bistro is one of the reasons it was not a popular venue. Hopefully someone from Princess is reading this review and takes the suggestion seriously.
Edited to say ~ I just read a little further and it seems like the fix is already in motion at the next dry dock. Pity they didn't think of it before at the same time when they swapped out Catch.

Sometimes it takes Princess numerous times to get things right. 

i.e.- dress codes, smoking on balconies, and now noise in the restaurants. It seems that they have to resort back to square one  every time they make a change. 🙃
