Princess Cruises Marks Countdown to Inaugural Season from Port Canaveral

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 27, 2023 /PRNewswire/

These sailings promise the classic, premium Princess experience, catering to travelers of all ages, making them ideal for families and multi-generational adventures.

The ship will cast off on Nov. 27, 2024, embarking on its maiden journey from Port Canaveral to Turks & Caicos, offering a delightful four-day Thanksgiving getaway cruise, as Princess Cruises brings the magic of "The Love Boat" to this convenient new departure point.

On sale now, the November 2024 through April 2025 season features 20 cruise departures to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, ranging in length from four to eight days, including:

Our friends live in Cape Canaveral so it will be wonderful to cruise with them from there.  They can actually walk to where the Mardi Gras docks but I think the Caribbean will be back with the other ships.  Will be nice to see Princess among all of the other big cruise lines there.

I just wish it was one of the newer ships. I've been on the CB four times. The first two were great. Unfortunately now she is really showing her age. Last cruise Dec 22 Panama Canal was absolutely horrible. So much so that they ended refunding half of our cruise fare, 2 of the excursions I booked through them and also comped us dinner in Crown Grill. They need to just sell it off or retire it.

I'm positive Princess will put a Royal-class ship at PC following CB's debut (a la Ruby --> Regal in Galveston); considering its main rival, Celebrity, is placing Apex at PC in Fall 2025, I don't think CB's going to cut it long-term competing in the weekly market there. The winners of the PC bloodfest will hopefully be us because the capacity should be even more beyond comprehensible by then.
