Specialty Dining Question

I know this is a stupid question but we've never done specialty dining. Is there one set price for the individual restaurants?

Each restaurant is priced differently from one another.  Pre-cruise pricing can fluctuate but will tend to be cheaper than onboard.  Depending on the ship some may have a single cover and some may be a la carte.

Normally 50 to 60 a person depending on restaurant, they normally have specials before sailing.

The on board pricing is usually listed in the app for each venue. The pre-cruise pricing is dynamic.

Almost always a better price booking through the cruise planner.

Try lunch. It will save you about 35-40% and the menu is basically the same.

I've been looking pretty much everyday for the last 4 months and the best I've seen was 10%. Maybe closer to the date  I will get a better discount??

The actual price is what matters. Percentage off can be deceiving. 
 

Depending on your gift of gab and the level of booking, the price available onboard can be the best.

Every lunch in the planners of all my cruises booked next year for cyber monday and black friday was 40% off lunch except hibachi only 20% off.

 

There definitely were bargains.. pasta day has both lunch and dinner on sale at italian.
