Thank you so much.  I know what an adventurous diner you are.  I’ll save you a seat for you tomorrow!  Ella said it was jam packed.  Very popular.  They are repeating it tomorrow.  We also have the Sunday Brunch tomorrow.
Butternut Squash Ravioli…Excellent!

Cruisin7, if you have a chance, would you please ask how many new guests will be joining in Singapore.  We will be 2 of them, re-joining your wonderful adventure… after having a super time on the San Fran to Papeete segment. Your posts continue to be spectacular and much appreciated!

Hi Mary.  I’m sorry we had a long day and I wasn’t able to get an answer.  I will work on that tomorrow.

Today we were in Townsville, a city on the coast of Queensland.  We did a 4.5 hour excursion…Townsville and Billabong Sanctuary.  It was the usual Hot & Humid! We saw many animals today. The highlight was probably the crocodiles. We were able to hold a three year-old male.

Good Morning Cooktown!IMG_6096.thumb.jpeg.0c7be51790f10908c4bb24dd74d4f793.jpeg

We arrived at 0625.  This is a tender port with a 30-40 minute ride.  At 0730 the Captain came overhead with an announcement.  The winds will be too strong for tendering.  They are expected to increase.  We will leave and head for Darwin.  Our 6th cancelled port.  Today is Day 62.

Goodbye Cooktown. See the flag…windy.

Hello from the Coral Sea!  I must be hallucinating with the heat because these clouds look like icebergs!IMG_6134.thumb.jpeg.1245d8a561b01545d8f079d0b903fbc0.jpeg

Yesterday at 6 pm Cameo Rascale performed.  It’s a husband and wife circus variety act.  They were incredible!  It was standing room only!  They received a huge standing ovation.  They will be on one more time.  Don’t miss them if you have the opportunity.

You didn't miss anything in Cooktown. We stopped there on a Regent Voyager in late December a few years ago. Our tender ride was long and bumpy, and the excursion was pretty dull. We did a lot of sitting around waiting for the bus to leave, having seen everything there was to see in 10 or 15 minutes. The only good thing was that there were restrooms available at several of the stops, including the last one, before our long tender ride back to the ship.

Hi @SWFLAOK.  I was worried about the long tender ride.  We were going to the Black Mountain National Park and the Lions Den.

This afternoon we celebrated Mariners 23rd Birthday!🥳

Upon our arrival into Darwin the dock was not ready for us.  They were having a problem with a Cushioning device.  So we actually waited about 45 minutes to dock.  We were about 1 hour late for our tour. It was very Hot!  There are a lot of flies/ mosquitoes on the boat. I would not recommend this tour.  We were on the boat about 45 minutes.  We had to pick 2 plastic bags out of the water.  So we only saw 3 crocodiles.  Not worth the heat, insects and long drive for me.

We went on the Jumping Crocodile Boat excursion. IMG_6224.thumb.jpeg.5c68b914b94a1f4cb51547ef819f0da7.jpeg

Humans feeding animals in the wild is not my cup of tea. They become dependent on being fed vs naturally searching for their own food. And no, I am not a member of PETA. It just doesn’t feel like we are helping the animals. It’s just entertainment for us humans.

Love that they are changing up the menu and offering new items. BUT the fact that the Mushroom soup is no longer on the menu makes me sad. My favorite!
