Digital photos?

Is Carnival doing digital photos now, meaning not printing them out?

 

Our last Celebrity cruise they sold digital photos and email them to us after the cruise. I don't think they were even printing them out.

It depends on the ship but yes. It is not fleetwide yet. They will print photos if you wish but you can also just buy the download.

Pixels Digital Photo Gallery is currently on the following ships: Carnival Breeze, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Firenze, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Magic, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Paradise, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Vista and Mardi Gras.

 

all other ships not listed has the older style photo system where they print it out and then you need to find it

Mardi Gras definitely has digital photos for sure. It's mostly some of the older ships that are still printing all the photos.

I would venture a guess that only smaller ships are printing photos out for you to look at and decide if you want them now. It was already incredibly wasteful on smaller ships, now think of that on a 5000+ passenger ship. Aside from being wasteful, it takes up a lot of real estate.

Once you buy a digital copy, then you get an option to have them printed for 4.99.   (Based on Horizon 12/31/23 cruise)

Got off a Jubilee B2B yesterday.  You can get either or both.
