Best way to get from LGR to NJ?

We are flying into LGR the day before cruise out on NJ in May.  What is the best way for 2 to get from LGR  to a hotel in NJ?  Would it be better to get to NYC Penn Station and take the train over? Seems like we did this years ago.  We could also stay in NYC if that was a better option. Does Celebrity offer any kind of transportation?

Best way would be Blade Helicopter takes 10 minutes.

Best way is Blade Helicopter, only 10 minutes. https://www.blade.com/airport

Next best would be Uber/Lyft ride share and not Yellow Taxi

As for Yellow Medallion Taxi $1.75 for pick up only at LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy Airports, Standard metered fare. Plus $20.00 Newark Surcharge. Plus tip and tolls to and from EWR (passengers are charged for the drivers’ return tolls). The on-screen rate message should read "Rate #3 - Newark Airport."

Next is an airport shuttle like ETS https://www.etsairportshuttle.com/laguardia-to-newark-shuttles

There are airport shuttle buses for around $21 as well see CoachUSA for times.

You also have public transportation NYC Bus like M60 or Q70 SBS to the subway to NJ Transit Train to the AirTrain.

The OP wants to go to a hotel in NJ, not to EWR, so most of what you've stated is of no use to the OP.

Only the Uber/Lyft option is valid and that was suggested in the very first reply to the OP's question.

You can't take a helicopter to a hotel.

The taxi fare formula you cited is to EWR. New York City taxis are not required to take you to any NJ destination other than EWR but if they agree to the fare is not set by rule but is a matter of negotiation between the taxi driver and passenger.

ETS airport shuttles go to EWR airport, not to hotels.

As in your other recommendations, the mass transit option goes to EWR.

Thanks for the info. We could be ok with trip to EWR.  Out hotel has free shuttle from there so that is something to consider.  Looks like shared shuttle is $59 pp. Guess we will way that agains a Lyft or Uber.
