Dining on balcony

We have booked a Penthouse suite on Marina for a 22 day cruise. We are very excited that we can order meals from any of the restaurants to our room. It will be enjoyed very much on busy port days. It is really important to us that we can eat our meal on the balcony but we have noticed that there is only a very small table out on the balcony. Is there any way to get a little larger table (even a folding table) put on our balcony for meals?

Talk to your butler when you get on board.

Years ago there was a big round board behind the couch on our concierge veranda cabin on R ships and when We ordered breakfast they placed the board over the table. Not any more on our Riviera and Vista cruises

Not sure for a PH if the butler will do a balcony setup. He set ours up on the indoor table and we carried outside as we desired. Talk to your butler.

We were very disappointed about this on a recent cruise on Marina.  We were in an Oceania Suite and also just had two small and low tables on the balcony.  We asked our butler and he said they don't have bigger tables anymore.  This was our first post-covid cruise on O.  In pre-covid times, there was always a big table on the balcony in the top suites.  Some photos on the O website still show dining tables on the balcony, so it may be that just Marina no longer has them.

The small table on the balcony is one of the few things we didn't like on our previous cruise on Insignia.

On Azamara the table was big enough for us to eat breakfast on our balcony (something we really enjoy). On Insignia we would have had to keep our plates in our laps.

On our Sirena cruise in a PH suite in January the table was sufficient to have breakfast on the balcony. While not as big as the one in the stateroom large enough and was at normal table height for dining.  In fact, we had breakfast on the balcony.

Did your butler do the setup on the balcony; or as for we did he set up in the cabin and we took our food out as we

Thant was our experience in an Oceania Suite on Marine in October. We had coffee outside, drinks outside, not a meal.

One would think the Butler would set it up wherever you wanted it.

We never had dinner delivered. Enjoyed the specialty restaurants and Terrace Cafe.

I believe it’s a policy issue.The table is far too small and the issue of keeping the patio door closed instead of opened up.

We took it out. They’re was a bit of a delay as they were finishing up some cleaning on balcony above us. When we had inquired about doing it day before he said sure, no problem.
